Melissa joined Beale & Co as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2016. In September 2018 she qualified as a NQ Solicitor within the Financial & Professional Risks Group in the Bristol office. Melissa specialises in Defendant Professional Negligence claims, defending claims (whether at pre-action or litigation stages) for a wide range of professionals including Solicitors, Accountants, IFAs, Surveyors and Construction Professionals. Melissa also advises insurers on policy coverage issues.
Prior to joining Beale & Co, Melissa worked at a UK law firm as well as a Global law firm where she gained significant experience of claims within the litigation process.
Melissa has also acted for professional clients facing complaints made to their professional bodies or regulators including the ICAEW and Legal Ombudsman.
